Our Philosophy

PHILOSOPHY

Wayfarer Psychology’s founding philosophy is to create a compassionate environment in which people can grow.

Life guarantees us experiences of complex emotions, losses, adaptations, as well as joy and excitement.

Often you will be able to cope with these by yourself and/or with your social network. Sometimes, you might feel that more is needed.

If you are considering starting therapy to help you make some changes in your life, Wayfarer Psychology is willing to help with evidence-based short- and long-term therapy.

TESTIMONIALS

"Two years ago I was in a dark and scary place mentally and couldn't see a way out. I took a leap of faith and decided to seek help through therapy, and was lucky enough to meet Josette who I immediately clicked with.
.

I can now barely recognise myself from the person I was two years ago. Josette believed in me when I couldn't believe in myself, and I can truly say that I have never felt happier, and more like myself than I do now.

I've always struggled to trust people, so this was a big deal! Josette gave me a safe, non-judgemental space where I never felt pressured to say more than I wanted to. Despite doing some difficult, emotional work together, I always ended my sessions feeling lighter and happier than before.
